Hello everybody! Sorry about the long time between posts, it was a busy winter! But I feel Summer is just around the corner. The long range weather forecast looks very good with temps in the 80’s and sunny skies which should get the water temperature up near 70 Deg. and get the Redfish and the Trout to start biting like they mean it! Not to mention all the nearshore species as well(King and Spanish Mackeral, Cobia, Bonita,Grouper and False Albacore), and with the availability of the new nearshore boat “Ella Sea” we can offer Half and Full day trips for up to 4 people to chase many more species than just the ones I mentioned. As for the fishing right now, Offshore is starting to really turn on with catches of Dolphin(Mahi-Mahi), Wahoo, and Tuna well into the double digits as well as a few billfish seen and caught. We are going to be unable to offer Offshore charters on the “Stream Weaver” this Spring and Summer, but are proud to Welcome “Buck Wild” to the fleet she is a Beautiful 63′ Custom Guthrie with all the amenities needed for a unforgettable day offshore. Inshore the Reds and Trout have been around all Winter with weather playing a major factor on their mood and eagerness to bite, but it is steadily getting better and should fire off when the water warms up. I have already had topwater bites and expect many more in the coming months, as we caught trout up to 6lbs on top last May thru October. The picture is of a 4lb+ Speckled Trout that fell for the newest ‘secret bait’ this Winter and was released to hopefully reproduce!

Thanks for reading and I hope to see you on the water this Summer.
